Euphorbia decaryi is a rare and unusual succulent native to Madagascar, prized for its twisting stems and beautifully textured foliage. It forms a low-growing, spreading mat of zig-zagging stems covered with small, wavy-edged leaves that range from green to bronze, purple, or reddish-brown depending on light and growing conditions. Its unique growth habit gives it an almost bonsai-like appearance, making it highly desirable among collectors. Small cream to reddish flowers may appear throughout the growing season, adding subtle charm to this already fascinating plant.

General Care:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to gentle morning sun. Avoid intense midday sun in very hot climates.
• Water: Water moderately during active growth, allowing the soil to dry between waterings. Reduce watering significantly during dormancy.
• Soil: Requires a very well-draining succulent mix with added grit, sand, or pumice.
• Temperature: Enjoys warm conditions and should be protected from frost. Ideal range is 15–30°C.
• Feeding: Feed lightly during the growing season with a diluted succulent fertilizer.
• Maintenance: Easy to grow when kept on the dry side. Excellent drainage and airflow are essential.
